Providing Proof of Insurance
Have you been asked to provide proof of insurance for your current ELGA Credit Union Loan? Don’t worry, it’s easy.
First you will need your declarations page for your current insurance policy. If you are unsure what that is, your insurance company can provide you with a copy. Make sure your declarations page clearly lists:
- The policy dates
- ELGA listed as lienholder with correct address:
- 6065 Grand Pointe Blvd.
Grand Blanc, MI 48439
- 6065 Grand Pointe Blvd.
- Vehicle year, make and model
- VIN
- Deductibles
- Property address – if loan is a home loan.
Why are we asking for proof of insurance?
We understand you may have already provided your proof of insurance and are wondering why we are asking again. We may need an updated proof of insurance because:
- There was a lapse in coverage.
- Your vehicle was put in storage.
- You switched insurance companies.
- Changes were made to your insurance policy.
- The previous declarations page was missing critical information.

You can easily submit your declarations page online.
