Trouble at the Toy Fair
One day, in the small town of Greenfield, kids were excited because the annual Toy Fair was coming! But there was a problem—everyone wanted the new Super Rocket Toy, but it was too expensive. Some kids thought they could ask their parents for money, while others thought about borrowing from their friends.
That’s when I showed up, ready to help with these tricky money decisions!
I knew I would need to use my trusty loan lasso to help these kids make smart choices… It didn’t take me long, I was able to find a group of kids who were standing around and all looked very confused.
“I really want the Super Rocket Toy, but I don’t have enough money,” I heard Colt say. “I was thinking about borrowing from my friend Samariah.”
I had to jump in! “That might be tricky, Colt,” I said. “If you borrow money, you need to pay it back. And if you can’t, it could cause trouble.”
“But what if I wait until next month?” asked Samariah. “I can save up and then buy the toy!”
“That’s a great idea, Samariah!” I said! Saving money little by little can help you get what you want without any stress.”
I could see the kids were thinking about it, and soon everyone was excited to start saving up. Some of them even started doing small chores around the house to earn a little extra cash!
With a flick of my Loan Lasso, I made sure to help all of the kids make smart choices. The kids learned that patience and saving were much better than borrowing!
As I rode away for my next mission I yelled out “remember friends, when it comes to money, taking your time and making smart decisions will always lead to a better outcome!”
