Build Up Your Savings By Using Your ELGA Debit Card

With our Save Your Change savings program, the amount of each of your ELGA CU debit card purchases will be rounded up to the nearest dollar — or even doubled — and the difference will be transferred to your ELGA CU savings account.

Here is how it works:

1. Enroll Your Checking Account – Enroll your ELGA CU checking account in our Save Your Change automatic savings program.
2. Make Everyday Purchases – Use the debit card(s) attached to the enrolled checking account to make purchases like you normally do.
3. Choose Your Round-Up Option – Select from standard Round Up (to the nearest dollar) or Double Round Up (we’ll round up to the nearest dollar, then double that difference before transferring it to your savings account).
4. Watch Your Savings Build – Based on your selected option, the round-up amount will be calculated and transferred to your ELGA CU savings account automatically. *

*All debit cards issued to an enrolled account will be subject to Save Your Change activity.  The difference between the purchase amount and the whole dollar amount for all transactions each day will be combined and will be transferred from your checking account to your savings account once daily in a single transaction.  You may opt out at any time by contacting ELGA.
