About Us
ELGA Credit Union has always been known for its community service and giving. We’re taking that to a whole new level as we introduce the ELGA Credit Union Foundation for Impact.
Being a 501(c)(3) allows the foundation to give tax deductible receipts and write for grant matching dollars. There are three pillars to the foundation: Philanthropy, Education, and Business Start-Ups.
Endowment Campaign
ELGA Credit Union Foundation began building an endowment in 2022. Donations made to the endowment fund will earn interest, allowing the foundation to give back repeatedly for years to come.
Those who donate to the endowment through this campaign period will receive their name on a donor sign.
Scholarships
The credit union movement was founded on the philosophy of “People Helping People”. In keeping with our philosophy, ELGA Credit Union’s scholarship program was established to help our members achieve their higher educational goals.
