BACK TO SCHOOL: Help the Child Advocacy Team (CAT) Gear Up For School 2007. FOLLOW-UP WORKER: Contact parents of students that have completed various youth programs to evaluate student progress and program effectiveness. MENTORS: Spend two hours per week working directly with an area youth or working with youth development activities planning committees through Genesee County 4-H Adolescent Mentoring Program (AMP). SEWING MATERIALS: The Child Advocacy Team needs material, thread, trim and sewing notions for volunteers who sew clothing for underprivileged infants, toddlers and older children. ART GALLERY ATTENDANT: Assist with Vista Center's Art Gallery at Courtland Center Mall, showcasing arts and crafts created by people with disabilities and other artists choosing to sell their work with some proceeds going to the nonprofit Center; two to three hours a month, weekends.
