Special Purpose Savings

Use ELGA’s Special Purpose accounts to help you save for those special occasions. Whether it is a Vacation, Hunting Trip, Wedding, or Down Payment for a home or new car, let ELGA help you save!

Requirements: Regular Savings

• Can be opened any time of year
• Pick how much you want to save and how often you want to deposit
• No minimum balance requirement
• Auto transfer available from any account

Money Market/High Yield Savings

Want to make the most of your savings and still have access to it? Then the ELGA Money Market accounts are for you! Many different levels to pay the best interest for your money no matter where you are. For as little as $1000.00 you can begin saving at a higher yield!

Requirements:

• Must be an ELGA member
• Minimum balance required to earn higher yields:
  • Silver Account: Min. $1000.00
  • Gold Account: Min. $5000.00
  • Diamond Account: Min $10,000.00
  • Platinum Account: Min $50,000.00
  • Prestige Account: Min $100,000.00
• If balance drops below minimum requirement, account will earn the regular share savings rate.
• Only 6 electronic transactions each month

Pledge Savings

Let ELGA help you establish or re-establish credit! Set aside money in a Pledge Savings account and get an ELGA Pledge Visa. All you need is to deposit $100.00 more than the credit limit you desire and you can receive your new Visa. With limits starting as low as $300, you can start improving your credit right away!

Don’t want or need a Visa? You can also use the Pledge Savings account to do a personal loan to build your credit. Our lending team can’t wait to help you!

Requirements:

• Must have $100 more than the credit limit desired for Visa card

Asset Builder Savings

Need help saving money? Let ELGA help! Our Asset Builder savings account is specifically designed to help you develop a savings habit. We will work with you and build your account to $500. Start saving today!

• Must be ELGA member
• Deposit required each pay period
• After 1 year can withdrawal funds with no penalty
• $20.00 early withdrawal penalty

Christmas Club

It’s always the season to save for Christmas. Set up a Christmas Club account and have a convenient way to set aside money for all your holiday needs. The money you save will be transferred to your savings account on October 1^st for your shopping convenience. Start saving for the holiday today!

ELGAsaurus Savings Club

The ELGAsaurus Savings Club is a great way to teach your kids to save money! Help teach great savings habits while your child earns prizes and watches their money grow!

Requirements:

• Child must qualify for membership
• Must have a parent or guardian on account
• Changes to minor savings at 13 years of age and regular share savings at 18 years of age

• Direct Deposit available
• ELGAsaurus punch card – child receives 1 punch for each $5 deposited into account. Cards can be redeemed for prizes when card is full.
